3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
WalkOne Tech Solutions does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral marketing cookies.
Our website and supporting services may use limited cookies, tokens, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to:
- Operate website functionality;

- Identify malicious or automated activity;
- Protect forms from spam and abuse;
- Maintain user or administrator sessions;

- Remember necessary technical preferences.
These technologies are used for website operations and security rather than behavioral advertising. Our analytics implementation through Independent Analytics does not rely on tracking cookies. However, third-party services, embedded content, or future website features may use their own technologies. We will update this Privacy Policy if our practices materially change.

- Schedule or confirm appointments and meetings;
- Provide project, website, technology, or support updates;
- Request information needed to complete a project;
- Manage ongoing client relationships;
- Create and administer client records;
- Deliver requested files or materials;

- Analyze aggregate website traffic and performance;
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, malicious files, and security incidents;
- Enforce agreements and protect our legal rights;
- Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
- Carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected.
Submitting a contact or service-request form does not guarantee that we will accept a project or establish a client relationship.
5. Contact Forms and Uploaded Files
Our contact form may allow visitors to upload documents, images, screenshots, or other files relevant to a project or support request.
Uploaded files may be:
- Stored temporarily on our WordPress website or hosting account;
- Delivered through an email notification;
- Reviewed by authorized WalkOne personnel;
- Transferred to an appropriate client-management or file-storage platform; or
- Deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed.
For security reasons, we restrict upload sizes and may restrict supported file formats. We may reject, quarantine, or delete files that appear malicious, unsafe, unrelated, or technically incompatible.
Visitors should not upload executable software, malware, protected credentials, payment-card information, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information unless an authorized WalkOne representative provides a secure and appropriate method.
6. Client Management, Proposals, Contracts, and Payments
WalkOne Tech Solutions does not currently accept payments directly through walkonetech.com.
Client proposals, questionnaires, contracts, invoices, payments, and related project activities are generally managed through HoneyBook and its client portal. When you use HoneyBook, the information you provide is also subject to HoneyBook’s applicable privacy and security practices.
WalkOne Tech Solutions does not directly collect or store complete payment-card information through its website. Payment information is processed by the payment and financial service providers made available through the applicable client-management platform.
Information associated with an active or completed client engagement may be retained separately from the original website-form submission, including within:
- HoneyBook;
- Business email accounts;
- Accounting and tax records;
- Google Drive;
- Dropbox;
- Project-management records;
- Contracts and proposals; and
- Completed project archives.
Those records may be retained longer than the general contact-form retention period when reasonably necessary for project administration, warranty or support history, contract enforcement, accounting, taxation, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.
7. Email Communications
We use email to:
- Respond to inquiries;
- Confirm form submissions;
- Send requested information;
- Provide service and project updates;
- Communicate about consultations and appointments;
- Deliver invoices, proposals, or client documents; and
- Provide support related to an existing or requested service.
Our website email delivery may be supported by FluentSMTP and Brevo.
WalkOne Tech Solutions does not currently operate a general promotional email-marketing or newsletter program through the website. If we implement one in the future, we will use an appropriate consent and unsubscribe process and update this Privacy Policy as necessary.
You may still receive non-promotional emails that are reasonably necessary to respond to a request, administer an active project, provide support, or carry out a business relationship.
8. Text Messaging and SMS Privacy
WalkOne Technology Solutions, LLC may offer optional text messaging for:
- Inquiry follow-up;
- Customer support;
- Requested services;
- Project updates;
- Appointment and meeting reminders;
- Requests for information needed for a project; and
- Other communications directly related to a customer’s request or active service relationship.
Text-message consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing services or submitting a general inquiry. Where consent is collected through our website, the SMS consent checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Providing a telephone number alone does not automatically enroll a person in recurring text messages.
Message frequency may vary based on the customer’s request, project, appointment, or active support matter, but will generally not exceed 10 messages per month. Additional conversational messages may occur when a customer initiates or continues a support exchange.
Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s mobile plan.
- Reply STOP to opt out;
- Reply START to opt in again where supported; or
- Reply HELP for assistance.
Additional program information is available in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Mobile Information and Consent Records
We may maintain records relating to SMS consent, including:
- The mobile telephone number provided;
- The consent selection;
- The form or method used to provide consent;
- The date and time of consent;
- The disclosure shown when consent was provided;
- Submission and technical records associated with the consent; and
- Opt-out, opt-in, HELP, and messaging-history records.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent information will not be sold, rented, purchased, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose limited mobile information to service providers and telecommunications platforms that assist us in delivering, routing, securing, and administering messages. Those providers may process information only as necessary to provide operational messaging services on our behalf or as required by law.
9. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information.
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, form processing, email delivery, customer and project management, cloud storage, website security, analytics, telecommunications, accounting, and infrastructure maintenance.
These services currently may include WordPress, Elementor, Fluent Forms Pro, Hostinger, Cloudflare, Cloudflare Turnstile, FluentSMTP, Brevo, HoneyBook, Google Drive, Dropbox, Independent Analytics, and Twilio.
The information provided to a service provider is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the provider to perform its assigned function.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, malicious activity, or a security incident;
- Protect the rights, property, systems, or safety of WalkOne Tech Solutions, our clients, website users, or others;
- Enforce a contract or legal claim; or
- Obtain legal, accounting, insurance, or other professional advice.
Business Changes
If WalkOne Technology Solutions, LLC is involved in a merger, sale, restructuring, acquisition, financing, or transfer of business assets, relevant records may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
Mobile opt-in and messaging-consent information would remain subject to the limitations stated in this Privacy Policy.
At Your Direction
We may disclose information when you specifically request or authorize us to do so, such as when you ask us to coordinate with another vendor, employee, contractor, hosting provider, or technology professional working on your project.
10. Data Retention
General contact-form submissions are ordinarily retained for approximately six months unless:
- A longer period is reasonably necessary to evaluate or complete a requested consultation;
- The inquiry develops into an active client relationship;
- Information is transferred into project, contractual, support, or business records;
- Retention is needed to prevent abuse or document consent;
- A legal obligation requires longer retention; or
- The information is needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Uploaded files associated only with an unaccepted inquiry may be deleted within the same general period or sooner when they are no longer needed.
Client, contract, invoice, payment, accounting, tax, warranty, project, support, and legal records may be retained for longer periods based on legitimate business and legal requirements.
SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained as reasonably necessary to document compliance, honor communication preferences, and prevent messages from being sent after an opt-out request.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, securely dispose of, or archive it in accordance with our operational practices.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and misuse.
These measures may include:
- Website and hosting security controls;
- Restricted administrative access;
- Encryption in transit where supported;
- Spam and automated-abuse protections;
- Upload-size and file-type restrictions;
- Security monitoring;
- Account authentication controls;
- Reputable service providers; and
- Software maintenance and updates.
No website, transmission method, storage platform, or security system can guarantee absolute security. You provide information electronically at your own risk.
12. Your Choices and Requests
You may contact us to request that we:
- Confirm whether we maintain personal information associated with you;
- Correct inaccurate contact information;
- Update your communication preferences;
- Stop sending text messages;
- Delete a general inquiry or form submission where deletion is reasonably possible;
- Provide information about how your data was used; or
- Address a privacy-related concern.
Requests may be sent to support@walkonetech.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
We may decline or limit a request when retaining information is necessary for an active service, contract, legal obligation, security purpose, payment record, tax requirement, or legal claim.
Text Messages
Reply STOP to a WalkOne Tech Solutions text message to opt out of future SMS messages.
You may reply to a service-related email or contact us directly to update your email preferences. Opting out of optional communications may not stop messages that are necessary to respond to an active request, complete a project, administer an agreement, or comply with legal obligations.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may link to third-party websites, platforms, client portals, social-media services, file-sharing systems, or other external resources.
We do not control the privacy, security, availability, or content practices of independent third parties. Your interactions with those services are governed by their respective policies and terms.
This Privacy Policy applies only to information processed by WalkOne Technology Solutions, LLC and does not replace the privacy notices of third-party services.
14. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults, business owners, organizational representatives, and individuals seeking professional technology or digital services.
They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors through the website.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact support@walkonetech.com so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
15. United States Operations
WalkOne Tech Solutions is organized in Michigan and provides services primarily within the United States.
Our website may be accessible from other countries. Individuals accessing the website from outside the United States understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in their location.
We do not intentionally market services to, or establish services specifically for, customers outside the United States.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect:
- Changes to our services;
- New website features;
- Changes in vendors or technologies;
- Updates to messaging or analytics practices;
- Legal or regulatory developments; or
- Improvements to our privacy and security procedures.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of the website after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
